Passing on in the lifetime.

Hey everyone,

I recently witnessed a sad accident involving the passing of a beautiful orange tabby. I was having lunch at my boyfriend's house at Upper East Coast when his mum exclaimed that a dog was attacking a cat. I immediately jumped up from my seat and ran to the window to see. Well, I'm sad to say that the "dog" was actually 2 big golden retrievers who were being owned by a chinese guy who was with his friend jogging along the park connector. The poor cat was a shy orange tabby who always sits at the fencing staring at people but always ran away when I approached. It was really shocking to see a domesticated dog attacking the cat.

I know that many of you would be asking me, "what was the owner of the dogs doing??" Well, when the dogs attacked, they were not on their leash. And i guess the owner was in a state of shock when it happened. He did try to make his retrievers drop the cat though although it was a bit too late cos the dog flung it around when it was in his mouth. The cat had puncture wounds and was not able to breathe. I couldn't do much but to pray. It passed on when I finished my prayers for it. The owner was trying to help but in the end he couldnt do much.

The scary thing was, the next week, we saw the same guy with the two dogs, with his arm in a cast! scary. wonder what happened to the guy, and if it was the dog's fault. :/ what do you think?

xoxo,
Noreen

Poor cat! Hope the cat rest in peace. Poor Owner too! I bet he got bitten by his ferocious dogs. Maybe the owner needs to give the dogs some training and more care in order to make them more lovable and less fierce. Anyway thanks for the interesting and saddening post.

oh gosh! that is a very sad thing to witness! i pity the owner but he in my opinion he should have sent his pets for training.

and i feel sad for the cat even more then for the owner. it was an innocent being! i can't believe it lost its life just because of a random dog.

thanks, it was an interesting (and saddening) read!

I bet the owner didn't send his dogs for training or maybe behaviour management or something.. I don't think dogs should be let off the leash in public. They pose as a threat to anyone who passes by!
